PLAS 26 Exhibition
This is a selection of photos of the exhibition of my paintings at PLAS26 art fair in Seoul, South Korea. We had a great time and I’ve met a lot of people. For this exhibition I´ve continued with the theme of “Botanico”, where plants meet people.
Botanico – The Cultivation of self
This painting exhibition examines how the modern individual engages with gardening, houseplants, and floral decoration as more than fleeting trends. These acts become rituals of grounding, identity-building, and quiet resistance against digital alienation. Plants have always been vital to life on Earth, they’ve accompanied us since the beginning of human existence. Though they do not speak, they grow silently around us, providing oxygen, nourishment, and subtle companionship.
In a time when urban life feels increasingly fast-paced, disconnected, and screen-bound, caring for plants becomes a form of rebellion. A slow, intentional, hands-in-the-soil gesture toward mindfulness, presence, and creativity. From balcony gardens and apartment jungles to community plots blooming between buildings, this exhibition reveals how people cultivate not only greenery but also a deeper sense of place and belonging.
“Botanico” is an homage to our botanical companions, silent yet powerful presences that bring peace, joy, and restoration to our daily lives.
